For over fifty years, Cantor Fitzgerald has held true to its values of focus, resiliency and commitment. The same core values that provided the foundation for our growth over the lifetime of our business have been critical to our rebuilding over the last two years.

We are proud to say that Cantor Fitzgerald has endured, and we are more focused and committed than ever.

This commitment reaches beyond traditional business, as we remain dedicated to providing the families and loved ones of our 658 victims with steadfast emotional and financial support. Together, our employees, our families and their extended families form the Cantor Fitzgerald community. This community shares a unique understanding of the events of September 11th that binds us, and we continue to work together to provide one another with support.

Financial Support
On September 19, 2001, Cantor Fitzgerald made a pledge to distribute 25% of the firm's profits and committed to paying for 10 years of healthcare for the benefit of the families and loved ones of its former Cantor Fitzgerald, eSpeed and TradeSpark employees (profits which would otherwise be distributed to the partners of Cantor Fitzgerald). Cantor Fitzgerald has distributed this 25% of its profits every quarter since, and will continue to do so until September 11, 2006.

On September 14, 2001, with a $1 million dollar personal donation from Cantor Chairman, Howard W. Lutnick, Cantor established The Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund. Mr. Lutnick and the partners of Cantor Fitzgerald underwrite 100% of the expenses of the Relief Fund in order to guarantee that every penny that comes into the fund is paid out to our families.

As of August 30th 2003, Cantor Fitzgerald and The Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund have provided our families with more than $120 million in financial support.

Cantor Fitzgerald has also sought to aid our families by organizing legal, economic and emotional support as well as providing listings of services, scholarships, and events that are offered to them. More information about these services can be viewed at www.CantorRelief.org.

Legal Support
Cantor Fitzgerald has arranged for several top Manhattan-based law firms to be at our families' disposal to provide Victim's Compensation Fund legal services at a significantly discounted rate and in some cases, free of charge.

Cantor Fitzgerald has created a comprehensive reference guide for families and loved ones to help them through the Victim's Compensation Fund process and to help them determine the most beneficial scenario for their individual economic situations. The guide was made available to families on September 17, 2002 and provides both a legal brief and economic guidelines by which to understand the economic circumstances of Cantor Fitzgerald employees.

Economic/Investment Support
Cantor Fitzgerald has paid for extensive economic analysis for each Cantor, eSpeed and TradeSpark employee's compensation history to support his or her individual claims to the Victim's Compensation Fund.

Cantor Fitzgerald has arranged for expert and significantly discounted investment and tax advice for the families of the victims.

Emotional Support
Cantor Fitzgerald has extended its Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to the families and friends of its lost employees. The EAP is a professional service that offers support groups and counseling.

Cantor Fitzgerald hosts regular town meetings with the families of our victims in New York City, New Jersey, Connecticut and on Long Island to provide forums for issues related to the events of September 11th. In these meetings, we keep the families apprised of new developments regarding various issues like the Victims Compensation Fund. Cantor Fitzgerald has organized support groups for victims' wives who gave birth after September 11th and for victims' fiancés.

Cantor Fitzgerald has hired dozens of full-time employees and interns who are family members of our deceased colleagues. Cantor Fitzgerald has held, and will continue to hold, a private memorial service in Central Park on the anniversary of the events of September 11th. Last year's service was attended by thousands of family, friends and colleagues of our lost employees.

Cantor Fitzgerald and the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund have created and maintain two websites - www.CantorRelief.org, and www.CantorFamilies.com -- that provide an electronic memorial, a compilation of gifts-in-kind, and a listing of companies, services, and activities available to the families of our victims.
